Started by Sandi Patterson, a Newark Resident and vintage lover, Sandi felt that Clothes in the Past Lane needed to be an eclectic environment offering both retro and new clothing & accessories. Clothes in the Past Lane carries brand names that appeal to a diverse group of people along with choice but affordable retro clothing and jewelry. We hire employees who are mostly Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Apparel Majors from the nearby University of Delaware. The students are involved in all aspects of running the store. This learning experience is enhanced by a state of the art POS system. We also support various campus run organizations as well as national and community charities.
